Picnic Lunch

We stayed at the waterpark until lunch time and enjoyed a picnic lunch by the cars.  We then headed to Arcadia, Wisconsin, to visit one more college friend.  We stayed the night with Lisa, her husband Randy, and her 14 year old son Brady.  I've also known Lisa for over 20 years!

We had a great time catching up a little.  Last time we had visited Arcadia Brady was eight years old (the same age as Brennan is now).  We enjoyed a hike to a little creek to go fishing, we played some ping pong, played in her basement, and enjoyed some relaxing time.  We went to the Happy Panda for dinner and found out that the lady that works there spoke Cantenese.  I had her tell Kate what a good little traveler she was being.  I would have liked for her to translate even more, but she was a little shy.  We also enjoyed some great sundaes for dessert.

We left the next day around noon for our drive to Minnesota.  I ended up taking some small back roads because a bridge was out.  Lisa had given me some great directions, but somehow I missed them.  Anyway the back roads were beautiful and it was fun to drive along such a scenic route!  Kate slept most of the three hours and Brennan watched movies.

We couldn't believe he actually

We love lazy mornings!

We were sad to say goodbye but excited to get to Minnesota to see the rest of the family and meet up with Dave!
